On March 14, 2007, Life Styles recognized the year's exemplary employers, consumers and staff. Maureen Connelly and sister/Board of Directors member Kathy Jaycox shared their family's inspirational and touching story of commitment to Maureen's goals for independence.

Assistant Director Jennifer Maynard and Phil Hawkins present consumer paintings to Community Partnership Award honorees, while Paula Garvin proudly accepts an award for 20 years of service to the University of Arkansas.

Founder and Executive Director Carol Hart received a big surprise! After receiving an Adirondack chair built by board President Charles Harwell and decorated by Life Styles consumers, Carol was serenaded by the Life Styles Board of Directors. At the end of Jennifer Maynard's "Ode to Carol," the staff presented the organization's director with an Alaskan cruise in recognition of her thirty years of service.
