Our Project SEARCH partnership with Washington Regional Medical Center, now in its 9th year, achieved a 96% placement rate—securing jobs for 66 program graduates.
We helped fifteen of our clients find meaningful employment in the community.
In a tight job market characterized by high turnover in service jobs, we are honored that 36 of our employees have been with Life Styles for five years or more.
Twenty-eight of our Special Olympics athletes competed in the State Games, returning with more than 50 medals.
For the 9th straight year, Life Styles was recognized by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) for maintaining rigorous quality of service standards.
In a region with limited public transportation, our three full-time drivers traveled 80,371 miles transporting Life Styles clients on an average of 1,870 trips each month in our fleet of seven vehicles
Life Styles added eight members to the Supported Living family this year, a 7% increase versus year ago.
We welcomed 23 new students to our College For Living program of continuing education and social activities.
We celebrated the 30th anniversary of our Polo In The Ozarks fundraiser with big crowds and more than $175,000 in funds raised.
We provided 5,000 hours of unpaid services to individuals with disabilities who were unable to pay out-of-pocket or through Medicaid waiver fees.
We celebrated the outstanding track record of our employed clients: Fifteen have worked for the same employer for 5+ years—and three of those have an outstanding 20-year tenure at their place of employment.
Life Styles provided 365 days of programming to our family of clients – ensuring they have ample opportunity for connection, enrichment, novel experiences, and fun.
Twenty-one Launch students experienced college life at the University of Arkansas—a 42% increase in program size from 2018.
Life Styles marked its 43rd year facilitating independence and ensuring community integration for our family of clients.
Two Life Styles clients successfully completed the Life Styles Transitional Living program and now live independently: That’s 100% on their own.
Life Styles Supported Employment helped eight of our clients land their very first job in 2019.
